Our Story

A woman with brown hair is seated at a white table sketching in a journal. She is wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and faces the camera smiling. Plants and other tables are visible in the background.

We create jewelry inspired by the American Revolution for people who want to connect with history every day

Ditto historical is a handmade jewelry brand that seeks to go beyond museum exhibit walls, display cases, and textbooks, to connect people with inspirational figures, stories, and designs from the past every day.

The Team

Owner & Designer Miranda Peters has been a leader in the museum world for nearly 20 years, where she documented, preserved, and made accessible hundreds of thousands of artifacts connected to our nation’s past.

“I have always been inspired by the artistry and design brought to even the most commonplace 18th-century items. There are countless stories to share and whether you're a history buff or simply love unique and stylish accessories, ditto historical invites you to embark on a journey, to connect, to be transformed by the magic of history.”

Sustainability

Sustainability is something that we’re constantly working to improve on in all aspects of our business. Our headquarters is in a refurbished industrial oven factory that is 100% run on renewable energy. The net-positive building includes a megawatt solar array and geothermal heating and cooling.

We support American-made manufacturers when purchasing materials for our designs whenever possible and our collections are made in small batches to reduce waste.
